Etihad Airways announces sponsorship of The English School's fundraising event

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, announces today its sponsorship of The English School's Fundraising Event that took place on March 26th at the British Embassy.

This fundraising event, which witnessed the Abu Dhabi based airline raffling a return ticket to London on its Coral Economy class, was aimed at raising KD 25,000 to contribute towards providing sound and lighting equipments for the school's upcoming major capital improvement project - a major renovation of the school's facilities.

Etihad Airways Kuwait Country Manager Magdi Labib said:

"We are very delighted to have become the exclusive carrier for this grand event. Part of the national airlines of the United Arab Emirates' ethos, is the support of goodwill causes, as well as encouraging excellence."

Etihad's sponsorship marks the continuation of the school's capital projects that started in 2004. Since then the school has added a creative arts centre, recreational facilities, and an upgrade of services across the entire school that includes the installation of 34 interactive whiteboards.
