A specially created health check booth is located at the women's healthcare exhibition providing visitors free, quick and simple health checks such as glucose, lung capacity, body mass index and blood pressure.
"Philips has a long experience in Women's Healthcare and is now extending its knowledge to prevention before cure. Performing basic tests can help spot early warning signs of heart problems and diabetes, which are prevalent in the region" added Louis Hakim.
On show is Philips' new HD9 ultrasound system, which focuses on helping clinicians deliver high quality care for a full range of women's health needs. The HD9 system combines advanced imaging technology, including 3D and 4D capabilities, in an easy-to-use and reliable system for obstetrics, gynecology, and breast imaging.
Also on show is Philips' top of the range mother and child care portfolio of Avent products. Philips Avent has been creating award winning premium quality products for mothers around the world ever since the company was first created back in the 1980's.
