Haider Murad and Sons Investment Group introduces dealers to latest home and office electronics from Sharp

Haider Murad and Sons Investment Group (HMG), the sole distributor for Sharp in Jordan, introduced its dealers to the latest home and office electronics from Sharp at an annual dinner that took place on Thursday, April 2nd, 2009 at Le Méridien Amman Hotel.

During his speech, Issa Murad, General Manager of HMG stated, "Haider Murad and Sons Investment Group was established over 40 years ago, and since then we have made every effort to continuously enhance our relationship with our dealers, distributors and customers. Tonight's gathering is an example of the solid relationship that has been established between the Group and our dealers."

He added, "We take pride in being one of the leading companies in trading and distributing electronics and home appliances for world class brands and trademarks. This achievement would not have been made possible without the loyalty and hard work of our partners."

Mr. Murad went on to say, "Sharp has a vast number of achievements to be proud of. To start with, it is the only company credited for using solar energy-based products. It is also the first company to invent LCD screens back in 1973, the first to invent LCD TVs in 1988, the first to invent the 65 inch LCD screen, and is now introducing the 108 inch LCD screen, the biggest in the world. Sharp also developed Plasmacluster Ion products back in 2000 and environment friendly ovens, which were created to function like a microwave but depend only on steam, resulting in healthier food and a cleaner environment."

Mr. Fumio Yamaguchi, Managing Director of Sharp Middle East said, "It is a pleasure to be here tonight to introduce you to Sharp's new vision of being environmentally cautious in everything that we do. We call it the Green Vision. In the 21st century, there have been many new threats to our health and the environment, such as viruses like bird flu, global warming, air pollution, and the shortage of resources. With that said, Sharp decided to focus its business on healthy and environmentally advanced products."

He added, "Sharp is passionate about confronting the problem of global warming through our AQUOS LCD TV and solar system products. Sharp's AQUOS LCD TVs and LCD Information Display offer outstanding picture quality as well as environmentally friendly features such as low-power consumption. What's more, all of our LCD panels are made at Sharp's environmentally friendly factory in Kameyama City, Japan, the world's first factory that uses 8th generation LCD technology."
