Durrat Al Bahrain sponsors a rehabilitation program of 10 children with Cerebral Palsy

Durrat Al Bahrain, the Kingdom's largest planned luxury mixed-use residential, commercial and resort development, announced that it has sponsored a Cerebral Palsy rehabilitation programme for 10 Bahraini children.

The program will be conducted by the Steps Rehabilitation Centre in Bahrain and it will be implemented over three weeks with extensive daily treatment sessions for the children, who are aged between 2 and 8 years.

"After the three weeks intensive programme, the kids will be able to manage many of the challenges they face with Cerebral Palsy. We are proud to be able to help these children and support the Steps Rehabilitation Centre in their invaluable work. We are determined to support the community and will continue to implement various CSR programs that will benefit the community and the Kingdom of Bahrain,"


said Jassim Al Jowder, CEO of Durrat Al Bahrain.

Fawzia A.Khaliq, Managing Director of the Steps Rehabilitation Centre, commented: "Around three thousand kids suffer with Cerebral Palsy in Bahrain. The rehabilitation program uses various techniques and components to assist the patient overcoming the difficulties which they face on a daily basis. We appreciate Durrat Al Bahrain's support for the children who are in need of this programme."
