Ahmed Koubeissy holds celebrity makeup classes in Qatar

Renowned Lebanese makeup artist Ahmed Koubeissy wowed delegates to his special four day make-up course which has just ended at the Diplomatic club in Doha.

Koubeissy is the first make-up artist in the Middle East to have written books about his subject in Arabic, the first make-up artist in the Middle East to have produced his own make-up products carrying his name and signature, and was the man behind such famous faces as Fairuz, Najwa Karam, Majida Al Roumi, Ahlam, Nawal Al Tunsia, Madeline Matar, Joumana Mourad, Zeina Fayad and Sulaf Fawakherjy. Microsoft has even nominated his web site as the best make-up site on the internet.

Mrs. Rania Saliba, Beauty Salon Managerof the Diplomatic Club, said the teaching sessions attracted many delegates.

"They covered the fundamentals of good make-up, including the principles of light and colour and understanding the process of choosing products and techniques for the correct application of make-up and care of the skin under different circumstances,"


she explained.

"There was very much a hands-on approach for all to try out their newly acquired skills. The feedback we received from those lucky enough to attend the sessions was nothing short of phenomenal," she concluded.

Koubeissy, regularly participates in international shows and exhibitions, and services an international clientele from across the Arab world.
