YEA to hold 'Model for Regulatory Impact Assessment' in collaboration with Partners-Jordan

The Young Entrepreneurs Association (YEA), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and encouraging entrepreneurship in Jordan and educating Jordanian businesspeople on the social and economic value of non-conventional ideas, held an event titled 'Model for Regulatory Impact Assessment' in collaboration with Partners-Jordan.
Speakers from varying backgrounds provided their expertise at the event.
Among the speakers, Ms. Samar Haj Hassan, Vice President of the YEA discussed the importance of implementing a Regulatory Impact Assessment Model based on their professional experience.
Attendees at the event included representatives of Parliament, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Environment, and business associations, many of whom expressed interest in adopting such a model.
The discussion covered a variety of topics and outlooks. Speakers highlighted case studies from other countries that utilize the Regulatory Impact Assessment Model and its impact.
They also debated the differences between traditional and modern models, as well as the general obstacles and redundant processes of legislation. Others emphasized the efficiency the Regulator Impact Assessment Model can have on the process of drafting legislation.
