These new phones come with a nice feature set. Such features include an illuminated display and an integrated phonebook with space for up to 40 entries. The call list stores the last 25 accepted dialed and missed calls. If a caller's contact data has already been stored in the phonebook and the CLIP function is enabled, the display shows the caller's name as well.
Siemens' innovative HSP (High Sound Performance) technology ensures voice transmission free of interference and disruption. It is an ideal aspect for households with several people as upto four handsets can be registered on the Gigaset's base station.
The Gigaset AL185's integrated answering machine can record up to 12 minutes of messages and can be operated from both the handset and the base station.

With state-of-the-art switched-mode power supplies, the new Gigaset phones save energy and permit variable reduction of the transmitting power - by up to 100% in idle or recharging mode.
