The Youth Orchestra showcased interest and support in this initiative which was a reflection of its continuous commitment to cultural development in the country, with a particular focus on young artists.

The Youth Orchestra is a valuable platform and will be an annual project for young musicians to develop to the highest standards," said Muna bin Kalli, Executive Director of Dubai Ladies Club.

She added, "Through this unique initiative we are planning to host various educational plans and projects to enlarge the scope of cultural development and offer young artists massive opportunities to develop their interest and talents in musical Art."

The orchestra brought together 60 school attending children from six countries across the Middle East, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kingdom of Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Republic of Yemen and Sultanate of Oman who have rehearsed extensively over the past week for YOME's inaugural performance. The event showcased the musical abilities of the young artists playing within a fully-fledged symphony orchestra at a professional level.

According to Christine Titterington, Co-Founder of the YOME, "The Youth Orchestra of the Middle East provides an excellent opportunity for dedicated young musicians in the region to develop their talent.
