Dr. Joachim Schmidt, President and CEO, Daimler Central/Eastern Europe, Africa and Asia, met with HE Saeed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, Chairman of Al Fahim Group, Mr. Rashed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, Managing Director of Al Fahim Group, Mr. Christopher Preston, Automotive CEO of Al Fahim Group and Mr. Irfan Tansel, General Manager of EMC to discuss strategic decisions.
Later, he toured the new Al Fahim Group Headquarters in Mussafah, which houses the world's largest Mercedes-Benz workshop and showroom where the grand opening of the long-awaited facility will take place in the second quarter of 2009.
"This was an excellent opportunity to meet with a top Daimler official to talk strategy in a softening market and to give him a sneak preview of our new Mercedes-Benz premises that clearly shows EMCs commitment to the brand and to the future,"
said HE Saeed Al Fahim.
