- PRESS RELEASE
As part of an ongoing commitment to charitable undertakings in Jordan and Palestine, Atico Fakhreldin Group recently donated 5% of its Kebab Express revenues for the month of February to Gaza through the Jordan River Foundation (JRF).
JRF sources expressed their appreciation of such donations, stating that they are grateful for Atico's efforts and high sense of responsibility towards national causes. The proceeds will be forwarded to the people of Gaza through the Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization (JHCO) to enable the concerned agencies in Gaza to provide essential items for the injured and homeless.
Commenting on this, Atico's Corporate Social Responsibility Officer, Abeer Fakhriddin said, "We at Atico, do sympathize with the suffering inflicted upon our fellow Gazans and feel that the least we can do is support them in their time of need. Through this and similar initiatives, and acting as an integral part of the communities we operate in, we do hope that our humble contributions bring about a positive difference in people's lives."
This is not the first such donation made on the part of Atico this year -in January, over 400 management and staff of Atico Fakhreldin Group donated one day's salary to aid those in Gaza, whilst Atico management recently contributed in an initiative to supply winter clothing for the SOS Children's Villages in Amman.
In the same context, the company provided Palestine Association for Children's Encouragement of Sports (PACES) with funds to help underprivileged children in refugee camps (in Palestine) to excel in sports like football.
It is worth noting that Kebab Express, an Arabic fast food concept, is located in Sweifieh and City Mall, and offers delicious Lebanese appetizers, healthy sandwiches, grills and desserts carefully selected from Fakhreldin Restaurant's popular items.
Kebab Express is part of Atico Fakhreldin Group which includes other outlets such as Fakhreldin Restaurant, Ren Chai, Yoshi, Nai, Vinaigrette, Trattoria, the Courtyard, Wild Jordan Café, Bistro One, Amigo and Fakhreldin & Co.
