  • PRESS RELEASE

On Monday, April 13th, the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (Seha) inaugurated the new Ambulatory Healthcare Center - Bain Al Jesraen.

This is the third new clinic of its type added to the Seha - AHS network in its efforts toward upgrading outpatient care and improving the quality of healthcare in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

In attendance at the opening ceremony was H.H Sheikh Hamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, H.E. Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman of HAAD and Chairman of Seha, H. E. Saif Bader Al Qubaisi, Managing Director, SEHA, Carl Stanifer, CEO, Seha, , and other assembled dignitaries and guests.

Following the opening of the Centre, Dr. Al Mazrouei said "The opening of this new center signals our continued commitment to provide state of the art services to our community. It is a continuation of our plan to upgrade healthcare and provide quality services for the residents of Abu Dhabi in a socially responsible and cost effective manner on par with international standards, measured through accessibility, affordability, choice and satisfaction.

Mr. Al Qubaisi, Managing Director of Seha, said
"Seha is committed to delivering world class services to the people of Abu Dhabi. This Centre is yet another example of that commitment. To the patient, this means they have improved access to services through appointments and less waiting time for results. Patients accessing more specialized services in a less expensive local setting will over time mean more efficient use of resources and lower costs."

Dr. John Evangelista, Director of Ambulatory Healthcare Services for Seha said: "Ambulatory Care is 21st century outpatient care meeting the international standards for outpatient services. Largely due to advances in technology, ambulatory care describes a suite of services, many of which were formerly delivered only in hospitals. In medical terms, ambulatory care translates best in Arabic as "outpatient".

In AHS, we manage and monitor patient care and based upon the individual patient needs, we can move them from this setting to more specialized services in either ambulatory or acute hospital care, or to home or long term care if that is the need.

The Ambulatory Healthcare Services network is fully equipped and staffed with experienced practitioners and doctors to meet key family healthcare requirements.

The center houses experienced specialist consultants that offer diagnosis, treatment and consultation
