Like its name sake, the Falcon by AC Schnitzer makes a striking visual impression. Available from Abu Dhabi Motors, the exclusive importer of BMW in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, the Falcon design by AC Schnitzer for the BMW X5 and BMW X6 has a dominantly muscular, confident and predatory appearance.

Styled by Chief Designer Michele Viandante, the bird of prey theme resonates throughout from the elaborately flaired wheel arches, known as the car's wings, to the triangular, metal-rimmed air intakes set in the bonnet which gives the Falcon the aggressive, commanding profile. The objective of the design was to create additional downforce so high speed traction is unmatched.

Beneath the wheel arches lie the Falcon's multipiece AC Schnitzer alloy wheels Type Vll. With black or silver paint and a dense sequence of spokes, the 22" rim perfectly complement the bold appearance. The alternating spread angle of the web pairs also gives a refined look.

Commenting on this latest offering from the world renowned tuning house, Arno Husselmann, General Manager of Abu Dhabi Motors explained:

"The Falcon kit is a unique package that transforms the BMW X5 and BMW X6 into a very dominant vehicle, which is perfect for anyone who wants to make a powerful impression. Just looking at the Falcon, let alone seeing it fly by on the road, provokes respect and appreciation."

Husselmann continued: "Our clients have specific requirement and high standards. They want to make the right impression. Therefore, exclusively at Abu Dhabi Motors the Falcon is available in all BMW's exterior colours specific to the BMW X5 and BMW X6, including individual preferences. The interiors can be changed to any colour and combination our clients prefer."

Other distinguishing marks of the BMW X6 variant are the wing extensions made of PU-RIM, a high quality plastic which is far more flexible and robust than for example GRP laminate or deep-drawn materials such as ABS.

The dimensions of the BMW X6 are 70 mm wider at the front axle and 80 mm wider at the rear. The aerodynamics package includes a front skirt with diagonal air inlets, and repositioned fog lamps. The submarining protection has been removed in favour of a dynamically contoured spoiler edge.

The BMW X6 Falcon's rear now wears a solid skirt with edge frame. Instead of the submarining protection also originally fitted here, AC Schnitzer has opted for a rear diffuser and completed the effect with a new rear spoiler.

The BMW X5 variant has a front skirt element with its spoiler corners and drive-under protection which at first sight it gives the SUV the supremely confident aura of the born fighter it is. The strong contours of the AC Schnitzer spoiler skirt has a muscular, masculine appearance, which further accentuates the design lines of the car.

The Falcon by AC Schnitzer was created by one of the finest tuning houses in the world, whose reputation has been created through its involvement with motorsport for over 30 years, and whose technological expertise transforms the everyday driving of BMW owners.
