UAE Nationals to be given priority for admissions at Gulf Medical University

Gulf Medical University has started the admission for the year 2009-2010 for various programs offered by the University.

University welcomes sponsorship of UAE Nationals through various agencies and will give priority to UAE Nationals seeking admission.

As a special initiative by the University to attract more and more UAE nationals to take-up career in the field of Healthcare as there is a huge gap for the demand and supply of qualified professionals with local background.

The university appeals and welcomes individuals and agencies to support Brilliant and hardworking UAE Nationals to achieve their goals in perusing a career in Healthcare, It will give top priority and guidance to Students who apply a limited seats are offered in various graduate and post-graduate programs.

GMU is recognized and approved as an institution for higher education by the Ministry of Higher Education, UAE. GMC is listed in WHO Directory of Medical Schools and also listed in IMED Directory. The main aim is to impart quality medical education. This is the first University, which offers admissions to both boys and girls of all nationalities. It has an international faculty and a student cohort from 44 nations.

The Admissions for the following programs has already started, Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Physical Therapy (BPT), Doctor of Dental Medicine-DMD and Doctor of Pharmacy - Pharm.D GMU is glad to announce the Masters in Clinical Pathology (2 yrs) program and GMC-MOH-RACGP Fellowship program starting from May/June 2009.
