"The Ikea's Kuwaiti Talent Week for photography encourages Kuwaiti youth to showcase their talent and skills in photography and gives them the opportunity to exhibit their portfolios focusing on the nature, landscapes and artifacts," says Ikea Kuwait General Manager Mr. Adel Al Shamali.

"We are glad to participate in nourishing the young Kuwaiti talent and to give them the opportunity to exhibit their work as part of our anniversary celebrations," Al Shamali added.

The Kuwaiti photographers whose artwork is at exhibition in Ikea are from 'Kuwait Free Photographers' which is a group whose love of photography brought them together and encouraged them to start a new photography team in January 2008.

You can experience the creativity as seen by the camera lenses of the following talented Kuwaiti photographers, 'Abdullah Naser Al-Naser, Mahmoud Jaafar Ashknani, Najeeba Abdulilah Marafie, Jassim Mohammed Al-Ostath, Al.Anood Mohammed Al.Otaibi, Najwa Abdulilah Marafie, Nada Abdulilah Marafie and Rashid Bin Sultan Al Ali'.

These artists have also won many awards for their work previously and only use manual SLR cameras which require adept skills for both candid and creatively-controlled compositions.
