Acer provides 11,000 computers to Jordan's schools

The progressive Kingdom installed 40,000 computers for schools in 2001 and this new deal brings the latest and best PCs to its campaign to spread the educational use of computer technology. This order for 11,000 PCs includes an earlier deal for 2,000 PCs signed with Acer, the deployment of which will commence soon.

Acer's authorized channel partner in the region, CEB, played an essential part in the deal. To ensure that schools get the most out of Acer technology, CEB will provide them with world-class after-sales services and training as required.

The purchase of the new computers is part of a coordinated drive by the Ministry of Education to establish a modern infrastructure for Jordan's schools.
