Freshfields expands in Abu Dhabi

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has significantly expanded its presence in Abu Dhabi, moving to a larger office and increasing the on-the-ground team to three partners and ten associates.

Commenting on the recent move, David Higgins, co-head of the firm's Middle Eastern and North African (Mena) corporate practice, said:

"The expansion builds on the continued growth of our business in Abu Dhabi and is a response to the increasing demand for our services in the Emirate. We are delighted that our move to a larger office provides us with the infrastructure to expand our growing presence here, in terms of both our investment in people and the work we undertake, and will enable us to continue to build on our reputation as a leader in this important market."

In addition to the expansion in Abu Dhabi, Freshfields has also strengthened its local base in Bahrain by relocating to larger offices in the Kingdom's state-of-the-art World Trade Centre.
