Hamptons International launches the 'Best of British' Road Show with an auction in aid of charity

The city's socialites mingled with businessmen and investors at the glamourous evening where His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent was the Guest of Honour.

Exclusive and exciting experiences and items on auction included an opulent week of luxury on Richard Branson's private island, Necker Island; the first handmade clock from the Royal Clockmaker Dent in their exclusive new collection; a tour of Highgrove home to HRH The Prince of Wales; a luxury weekend stay in The Prince's Lodge at The Connaught, London; two private polo lessons with international player Jack Kidd; and exclusive tickets to Polo in the Park, London and Pro-Am tennis with the worlds leading players (Nadal through to Pat Cash).

The event was held in aid of The Prince's Trust, a leading youth charity; and the Red Crescent Society of the United Arab Emirates. HRH Prince Michael expressed his appreciation at the generous contribution of the guests who eagerly took part in the bidding.

The gala event marks the launch of Hamptons International's 'Best of British' Roadshow in Dubai aimed at bringing some of the best properties in the UK to potential investors in the UAE.

The event builds on the UK's advantageous position for property investments especially in the current market condition where the Pound has fallen in value, offering buyers some of the best properties with long term returns.

The participating properties will be showcased at an exclusive Hamptons Roadshow taking place in Dubai Marina from April 16 to 18 where interested buyers can obtain personal advice from Hamptons' real estate experts. The Roadshow will then continue to Cityscape Abu Dhabi, which runs from April 19 to 22.
