Jet Airways to introduce its second daily direct flight from Dubai to Mumbai

Jet Airways, India's premier international airline, will increase its frequency to Mumbai by introducing its 2nd daily flight from Dubai to Mumbai, effective April 23, 2009.

The introduction of this flight marks the continuation of a new phase of international route expansion plans of Jet Airways despite the economic downturn.

The additional flight on the Dubai - Mumbai route will complement the existing flight service that offers evening departure from Dubai, and arrival early next morning - perfect for onward connections.

Now with two flights on Dubai - Mumbai sector, will not only cater to the leisure travellers but will also cater to entrepreneurs and traders frequently flying on these routes. With these convenient timings, travellers from Dubai can connect to 18 destinations across 3 continents and 42 destinations within India. Interline and code share agreements with the Airline Partners provide an enhanced network of international destinations across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia.

Jet Airways will deploy its dual-class Boeing 737-800 aircraft featuring personalized award winning in-flight entertainment on every seat, gourmet cuisine and world-class service at the hands of a warm and thoroughly professional cabin crew.

This flight is conveniently timed with the departure from Dubai International Airport at 12:35 in the afternoon and reaching Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at 17:10. On the return leg, the 9W flight will depart from Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at 09.30 and will arrive Dubai International Airport at 11.05.
