Wave Pro opens at Bahrain City Centre

Fun seekers wanting to catch the first wave at Wahooo! Waterpark at Bahrain City Centre can now get down to Wave Pro, the surf and sand retail store that will kit anyone out with all the latest gear for water play.

From designer swimwear and surf accessories to casual beach clothes Wave Pro combines the 'dude' factor of Australia's Gold Coast with the 'dive' factor of the 190 metre Masterblaster Rollercoaster, one of the main features of Wahooo! due to be open in the middle of this year.

The huge 430 square metre store has a great range of brands including Zoggs, Billabong, Hot Buttered Surfboards and Nixon with products ranging from watches and waveboards to goggles and cameras. It will also sell the increasingly popular 'Burkini', the perfect swimwear for Muslim ladies to enjoy the water park rides and pools. Wahooo! souvenirs will also be available at the store once the facility is open.

General Manager of Wahooo! Damien Latham said the opening of Wave Pro is an important step towards the tidal wave of excitement just about to arrive at Bahrain City Centre when the region's first indoor/outdoor waterpark opens for business.

Latham said:
"We've got the best accessories and labels for anyone who likes to play in the water. People will love the gear at Wave Pro - it's practical, looks good and is comfortable so that everyone can enjoy the fun at Wahooo! The great quality, great brand names and great looks are all part of completing the Wahooo! experience."

The Wave Pro store provides all the best international labels for all ages and will be open to any visitor to Bahrain City Centre, not just those taking the plunge at Wahooo!

Wave Pro at Wahooo! waterpark comes from the team headed by Lloyd Griggs that brought Snow pro at Ski Dubai. Wahooo! Waterpark has 15,000 square metres of aqua thrills and spills and Wave Pro will be helping all water fun seekers to enjoy their Wahooo! waterpark experience.
