Epson introduces next generation printers, scanners and projectors at GITEX Saudi Arabia

Epson has announced that it is exhibiting its next generation of innovative products at GITEX Saudi Arabia 2009, which is being held at the Riyadh Exhibition Center, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from April 19-23, 2009.

Epson is showcasing its latest range of printers, scanners and projectors alongside new document archiving and business solutions specifically designed for key business sectors which include government, education, healthcare and banking. Epson's main booth is located at stand B-343, while it also has a prominent presence at GITEX Shopper.

At GITEX KSA, Epson is showcasing its new range of high-performance Business Inkjet printers from the Aculaser Series, which are all equipped with key features like secure USB DIRECT- PRINT, clear 4800 RIT output, fast A4 printing in colour and monochrome and easy maintenance.

Also being displayed are the Wireless Multifunction Printers under the new Stylus series. This new line is specifically designed to meet the demand of emerging micro-businesses and home office set-ups in the region by offering improved scanning, printing, copying and faxing capabilities.

Epson's document scanner and archiving solutions segment features the latest offerings in its GT Series. This new line of innovative flatbed scanners, which have been aptly tagged as fast scanners, incorporates speed, quality, efficiency and affordability in a small functional unit that can handle all scanning and document archiving needs.

All GT series are also equipped with Epson Ready Scan Technology, which allows the scanner to function and operate without the usual warm up time needed. All GT Series scanners are offered with software bundles which include Epson Event Manager 2.0, Presto Page Manager 8 and ABBYY Fine Reader Sprint (6 for PC/ 5 for Mac users).

Epson's Projector segment is displaying the latest line of 3LCD projectors infused with USB connectivity and multi screen technology. The exhibit features the EB-410, one of the newest short-throw projectors, in an interactive set-up where visitors can closely view the features of the new model.

Also being featured for the first time is the EMP-8 Series, which was designed to meet the growing needs of the educational and business sector.

The projector integrates a 200W lamp enabling color and white lights of up to 3,000 lumens. The projectors offer high resolution WXGA output, optional wireless functionality and can be directly connected to Epson's New Document Camera.
