Latest Sony Broadcast & Professional products and solutions at GEMEX 2003

Sony Broadcast and Professional will be participating at the forthcoming GEMEX showcasing its latest state-of-the-art technology for the broadcast and professional media industry.
Under the theme of Media Workflow Solutions - DV to HD, Acquisition to Delivery, Sony will demonstrate a networked end-to-end solution for the ingest, post production and playout of programs. The system will feature not only key Sony products, but also the software tools to automate the broadcast program workflow.
In addition there will be Sony's High Definition Camcorders and VTR's that will show truly amazing high resolution (1080/50i or 1080/59.94i) video pictures now widely accepted and used for creating movies, commercials as well as many other programs with a requirement for high resolution video pictures.
The latest standard and high definition editing and digital effects Editstation 'XPRI' will also be on display by Sony. This enables HD acquisition as well as post-production to be achieved using Sony integrated technology. In addition, Sony DVCAM products and Editmaster NLE solutions for both corporate and broadcast markets will be at the exhibition showing the depth and breadth of Sony's product applications.
GEMEX (Global Entertainment and Media Exhibition), previously known as Cabsat, is an annual showcase of the latest developments and technology in the cable and satellite television and broadcast equipment markets, and is positioned to reach out to key professionals of the world's media and entertainment industry, through which Sony has the opportunity to exchange ideas and opinions with industry executives from around the world.
Sony Broadcast and Professional will be on Stand M6-1 in Hall 6 at GEMEX, from 4th to 6th March at Dubai World Trade Centre.
