TWMA appoints Middle East Vice-President

The key appointment underlies Aberdeen-headquartered TWMA's commitment to building its business in such important regions for the international oil and gas business.

Mr John, who is based in Dubai, has a distinguished record of developing businesses in new, emerging and established markets across the globe for both market leaders and start-ups in the oil and gas industry.

He was Vice President of Worldwide Sales for National Oilwell Varco based in Houston and more recently, Vice President of Business Development for IDM International based in London and then Dubai.

He has also served in similar capacities for @Balance, a Shell venture company in Houston, and for drilling contractor Smedvig in Singapore.

TWMA expanded its North African operations recently by opening additional bases in Libya. The company also has a highly-successful operation in Egypt, where major clients include BP, and TWMA has secured further sizeable contracts in Nigeria, including work for Total, Mart Energy and Afren, in the last 12 months.
