The seat belt convincer and roll over car machines were present to give a better understanding to students on the effectiveness of a restraint. The students were given informative handouts on subjects related to tyre pressure and child seats. EDI also distributed sunshades, tyre pressure gage key chains etc.

Department Chair of the Foundations Mr. Peter Greene said,

"Tragically, almost every year in the past, we have lost a student in a fatal car accident from the college. The seat belt safety demonstrations conducted by Emirates Driving Institute are very effective and educative. They convince people to wear their seatbelts while driving."
