Air Miles cooks up another great promotion

Air Miles, which already announced a marked increase in online redemptions of its multi-participant loyalty programme in 2009, can now be described as 'cooking with gas!'.

The company has launched a unique competition where members can win a cooking master class at Gordon Ramsay's Restaurant, Verre at the Hilton Dubai Creek.

Winners need not fear the wrath of the great man himself; instead they can enjoy an intimate cooking master class with Executive Chef, Matthew Pickop and the team at the multi award-winning restaurant.

Fiona Leslie, Head of Marketing and PR at Air Miles says this is a rare opportunity to experience the thrill of cooking in a professional kitchen and discover how to emulate an expert.

"Three lucky Air Miles members and their guests will get the chance to learn the 'tricks of the trade' from the experts on May 20th, before trying their hand at producing the magnificent dishes from a three-course Gordon Ramsay menu," she said.

"And all they have to do to win is simply log onto the Air Miles website and tell us in a hundred words or less why they should be selected," she added.

Chef Pickop will be one of the judges and he said that in the first few days of the launch entries have been flooding in. "It is great to see so many people who are keen to come and learn from my team. What I'm personally looking for in the entries are innovative ideas, but most importantly people who demonstrate a clear passion for food."

The master-class experience has been especially tailored for Air Miles to leave the winners with an authentic Verre experience. Personally signed Gordon Ramsay cookbooks are also up for grabs and these will go to the person or persons showing the most potential on the day - again selected by Pickop, based on him tasting everyone's food.

Leslie says she is excited to work with Hilton Hotels, one of its participating companies, on such an exciting and innovative project that adds value to Air Miles members.

"This is a further demonstration of our desire to reward the loyalty our fast growing membership list and we are delivering an remarkable, fun prize that reflects the Air Miles brand philosophy," Leslie added.
