Dubai Media Incorporated honours successful employees of intensive 'Train the Trainer' course

Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI), one of the pioneering media organizations and creative services group in the Middle East, today honoured 23 employees for successfully qualifying as certified trainers, following their completion of an intensive industry-focused 'Train the Trainer' course.
While honouring the trainees from DMI's engineering and human resources departments, as well as from the five channels under its umbrella - Dubai TV, Sama Dubai, Dubai One, Dubai Sports, and Dubai Racing - Dubai Media Incorporated announced it will work towards expanding the scope of the courses in its next phase to include the rest of the employees and staff working in varied media, technical, and administrative specialties.
Addressing the awardees, Najla Al Awadhi said, "With the guidance and support of Ahmad Abdulla Al Shaikh, Board Member and Managing Director of DMI, we are relentlessly aiming to support Dubai's ambitious strategy of establishing its role as a leading media platform in the region through creating new innovations and promoting capacity building for developing fresh media talent."
"Our philosophy comes as part of our belief that DMI's strength lies within its media team, who require a continuous process of training and development to ensure and maintain a pioneering status in the region. Through equipping our staff with best-in-class skills, we are empowering them to cultivate the same capabilities among their team members that will eventually contribute to raising the overall quality of DMI's offerings and set new benchmarks in the broadcast media sector," she added.
The 'Train the Trainer' programme allowed participants to enhance their professionals skills in production, presenting and direction, in addition to acquiring learning in niche technical and administrative aspects.
DMI's initiative to organise the industry-specific training programme comes out of its commitment to enriching the region's media sector through shaping a well-informed generation of creative media professionals.
