In total, during the two events, 39 awards were given out including those for appreciation and recognition as well as the diamond, pearl and coral awards for the top three travel agencies in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah.
Raymond Korban, Etihad Airways' regional general manager UAE and Oman, said:
"Competition for sales within the airline industry is extremely fierce and therefore the relationship between Etihad and travel agents within the UAE is an extremely important one and one we need to sustain. "
"It was very pleasing to see so many of the country's agencies at the two ceremonies and the awards will hopefully inspire them all to win at next year's events." he added.
The diamond winners at the Etihad Airways travel agents awards were Omeir Travel Agency in Abu Dhabi; DNATA in Dubai, Sharjah National Travel & Tourist Agency and the Abu Dhabi Travel Bureau in Al Ain.
