Exhibitors come to Dubai to explore the business opportunities the region holds and they expect to secure significant business following the exhibition,' said Mr. Mubarak Ahmed bin Fahad, Director General of the Dubai World Trade Centre LLC.
Featured pavilions representing the UK and Bavaria (Germany) underscore Europe's growing interest in the opportunities the Middle East offers to global media players. Companies are keen to take advantage of the many opportunities the region has to offer. Representation from France will feature leading companies, and exhibitors from Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain, Switzerland, and the Netherlands will showcase their latest products at the show.
The strong European presence will be complemented by a solid Far East presence, with additional pavilions representing China, Korea and Taiwan. Several companies from India will also be present. The overall international response GEMEX is generating demonstrates Dubai's strength in the global cable, satellite, broadcasting, media and entertainment industries, and demonstrates a future boost to Dubai's role as an important media hub in the international sphere.
Several local players will also be on hand, including some of the UAE'S strongest cable, satellite, and broadcast elements and key publishers.
