Dream Collection to wake up Middle East hotels
- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, December 19 - 2001 at 15:51
- PRESS RELEASE
The latest in hospitality suite enhancement is to be introduced at The Hotel Show 2002 between May 20-22 next year, when the revolutionary Dream Collection from Danish company, egetaepper, is revealed in Dubai.
"It represents a fundamental shift in design concept for hospitality suites," says Michael Bogsted, Middle East area manager of egetaepper, a leading Danish manufacturer which is an international carpet supplier and international supplier to major hotel brands such as Inter-Continental, Holiday Inn and Hilton. "Ultimately it lifts the room and makes it more personal, spacious and exclusive."
The Dream Collection, specially designed for hotel rooms, brings the carpet to play a pivotal role in the overall interior scheme while, at the same time, bringing the bed into focus to ensure atmosphere and give the guest a unique and personal experience. It offers 16 fine designs and evocative colours can be combined. Borders and patterns can also be varied between rooms, corridors, stairs, conference rooms, receptions and restaurants to create the impression of a total, co-ordinated interior.
The Hotel Show is held under the patronage of H.H. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, UAE Minister of Defence, and chairman of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing.
The Show was purchased by dmg World Media, a subsidiary of FTSE100 company The Daily Mail & General Trust plc last year, and is already benefiting from ambitious international marketing initiatives in the wake of the buyout.
Already, a third of exhibiting space has been booked, 50% of this by new exhibitors, including strong local interest. Four new national pavilions, representing Thailand, Lebanon, Taiwan and the Philippines, have been confirmed, bringing a substantial number of exhibitors from those countries. The US, Germany, South Africa, United Kingdom, Italy, France, Australia and Hong Kong have once again taken pavilions and Northern Ireland's Madini Hotel Work will be the single biggest exhibitor,
"With the Hotel Show now under the umbrella of one of the largest exhibition organisers in the Middle East, it enjoys highly specialised global support, " said Joanne Evans, director of the organizers, Streamline Marketing.
