Higher Corporation for Specialized Economical Zones begins reservations for residential units in workers' cities

Under the instructions of H.E. Sheikh Hamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court, the Chairman of The Higher Corporation for Specialized Economical Zones, The Higher Corporation for Specialized Economical Zones announced the starting of the event for reservation of residential units in the workers cities in Al Mafraq and Hamim areas.

As directed by H.H. Sheikh Hamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Eng. Khadem Sawayeh Al Muhairi, the Acting CEO of the Higher Corporation for Specialized Economical Zones, inaugurated on Tuesday morning the events of reservation of residential units of program for the transfer of workers residential complexes from Mohammad Bin Zayed City to the new workers cities in Al Mafraq and Hamim Bridge areas in the presence of the developers who participated in the construction of the workers residential cities in Al Mafraq and Hamim Bridge Areas.

In this regard Eng. Al Muhairi expressed his thanks and appreciation to H.H. Sheikh Hamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his continuous follow up of all projects of the corporation and his directives to upgrade all aspects which the corporation wishes to realize in accordance with the laid down strategic plan which aims at supporting the local economy in general and the industrial sector in particular.

As for the commencement of the operational work for submitting the applications for renting the workers residential units in Al Mafraq and Hamim Bridge areas which are allotted to the companies located in Mohammad Bin Zayed City, the corporation announced the floating of residential units in Al Mafraq and Hamim Bridge areas, and added that the submission of applications is restricted to accommodating the companies renting in Mohammad Bin Zayed City in sector M3, M4, M5, M6, and M7 which include the direct lease contracts and subcontracts.

He said that the submission of applications has started in the main office of the Higher Corporation for Specialized Economical Zones in ICAD yesterday, and said that the housing applications will be submitted in accordance with dates already published in the newspapers as follows:

- Sector M3 from 19.04 to 23.04
- Sector M4 from 26.04 to 30.04
- Sector M5 from 03.05 to 07.05
- Sector M6 from 10.05 to 14.05
- Sector M7 from 17.05 to 21.05

He said that the above dates were specified as mentioned in order to facilitate the matter to the companies, and in order to give the concerned companies the sufficient time to choose the residence suitable to its workers in accordance with a flexible system of choosing in order to save their time and effort. For this purpose, the corporation has arranged all its cadres in service of these companies and secured hall equipped with the most modern electronic systems.

He added that these steps supported the vision and the targets of our wise leadership in the stability of manpower through various workers residential cities all over Abu Dhabi Emirate, and to participate in constructing projects of high stability between the public sector and the private sector, a matter which reflects the care of our wise leadership in all means and give the workers all their dues according to international laws and resolutions as well as the human values which reserve to the manpower its stability for the sake of participating in development and production in a secure and stable environment.

Eng. Al Muhairi said:
"Through the economical vision of Emirate of Abu Dhabi of 2030, the corporation focused upon the importance of partnership between public and private sectors which supports the economical growth and upgrades the aims sought by the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to become a main attracting point of local and foreign investments in the region, and that the construction of these workers cities is a support of the industrial sector in addition to construction, building and development."


He confirmed that such ambitions cope with the directives of our wise leadership and the vision of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE President and General H.H. Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander UAE Armed Forces to make Abu Dhabi an international investment destination through establishing an effective and flexible infrastructure capable of competition and effectively participates in local economical growth.
