The 2009 event has received strong endorsement from international suppliers, boosted yet again by the German pavilion, and for the second year running a strong participation from the Italian pavilion.
This year will also see a substantial increase in participation by France, which demonstrates Vision-X Dubai's position as an international event.
This event will feature over 120 companies from 27 countries exhibiting their products and services, making it one of the largest turn outs ever.

Industry leaders have again confirmed their participation at Vision-X Dubai including Rodenstock who have once again renewed their status as Platinum Sponsor of the exhibition, and Nikon who will be showcasing their latest products to the market.

For the second year running the Vision-X Dubai Fashion Show will take place within the exhibition, featuring the very best in fashion eyewear from around the world. The show will take place twice daily, showcasing brands such as Porsche Eyewear, Maui Jim and many more.
Running alongside the exhibition will be the 4th edition of the Vision-X Dubai Conference, which is co-organised by DWTC and the Emirates Medical Association Ophthalmic Society (EMAOS). Topics include refractive eye surgery, the latest trends in managing refractive errors and the presentation of previously successfully managed cases.

This year, for the first time ever Vision-X Dubai has teamed up with Johnson and Johnson to offer a training session at The Vision Care Institute to give participants the chance to enhance their skills at fitting contact lenses.
Vision-X Dubai will again offer a diverse yet targeted range of products from the medical and fashion industries, featuring two sub sections within the exhibition.
Vision-Opticare which will facilitate the needs of medical and technical professionals in the mid level eye care industry, showcasing the latest in ophthalmic, optometric and technical equipment, instruments and machinery.
Vision Lifestyle which will cater to the fashion industry featuring branded eyewear as well as unique international designs.
Vision-X Dubai will be held in Sheikh Rashid hall at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from 17 - 19 May 10am -7pm. The event is open to trade and industry specialists only. General public and persons under the age of 21 will not be permitted.
The Vision-X Dubai Conference, organised by Dubai World Trade Centre and Emirates Medical Association Ophthalmic Society will be held on 18 May 2009.
