- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, April 22 - 2009 at 11:00
- PRESS RELEASE
Magrabi Hospitals in partnership with Noor Dubai Foundation have launched a campaign aimed at raising awareness on avoidable visual impairment and blindness.
The campaign is based on the objective of further educating the public, especially children and youth, in respect to avoidable visual impairments at an early age.
A one month roadshow is currently underway at some of Dubai's major shopping malls including Deira City Center, Dubai Festival City and the Mall of the Emirates, where leaflets containing ophthalmologic guidelines and tips are being distributed from dedicated Magrabi booths.
The activities are a part of a series of programs that Magrabi has promoted over the years, as an important component of its Corporate Social Responsibility towards the public; aiming both at enhancing the levels of medical services and educating the public on health related matters.
The activities fall under the umbrella of the UAE's grand endeavors in serving the public, whether local residents or visitors, to the highest standards and the best medical qualifications.
