Credit Suisse appoints Jamal Al-Naif Head of Asset Management Distribution for the MENA region

Credit Suisse is pleased to announce the appointment of Jamal Al-Naif as Head of Asset Management Distribution for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, effective immediately.

This new position underscores the Bank's continued commitment to its clients in the region.

Based in Dubai, Mr. Al-Naif will be responsible for institutional client coverage. He reports functionally to Mark Bourgeois, Global Head of Asset Management Distribution, and regionally to Bassam Yammine, co-CEO of the Middle East and Head of Investment Banking and Asset Management in region.

Bassam Yammine, Co-CEO of the Middle East and Head of Investment Banking and Asset Management Divisions in the region, said:

Mr. Al-Naif joins from Citi Alternative Investments, where he was Head of Middle East Institutional Efforts since October 2003. Previously, he was the founder of Al-Naif Consulting, a company focused on investment banking in the region with a specific focus on capital raising from institutional investors.

Prior to this, Mr. Al-Naif spent 19 years in various senior banking positions at Lehman Brothers and Citibank in London, Bahrain and Jordan. He holds a BSc in Economics from Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois.
