Jacky's tops LG sales during DSF 2003

Various categories of LG products are sold at Jacky's, including audio-video equipment, home appliances, IT and mobile telecommunication products, with the latter two categories seeing the most sales over the shopping festival period. Out of Jacky's total DSF sales, sales of LG products accounted for 12 per cent.

Jacky's, which late last year established an exclusive LG Digital showroom at its High Frequency store at Sahara Center mall in Sharjah, expects to expand its line-up of LG products with the introduction of new products in the course of this year. This will include new mobile telephones, TFT monitors, wide-format projection television sets and interactive home appliances.

Jacky's promotional partnership with Citibank also contributed to the company's DSF successes. According to Soni Tolani, Executive Director, Jacky's Electronics, what sparked the Jacky's-Citibank DSF alliance were the large number of Citibank credit card holders who frequented Jacky's over the shopping festivals. It was thought to add to their incentive to shop at Jacky's by adding to their chances to win more at the Jacky's stores.

Jacky's registered sales in millions from Citibank credit card holders and served all types of card holders - from classic to gold.
