Alcatel-Lucent holds its Middle East Partners Conference in Dubai

The conference was highly successful with more than 130 delegates from 40 different channel partners attending each day.

Alcatel-Lucent had invited its channels community from the Middle East region to join the four-day training event dedicated to Alcatel-Lucent's 2009 theme: "Become a Dynamic Enterprise" that was introduced on March 2009 at the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Forum 2009, the leading annual industry's event taking place in Paris.

By connecting their network, people, processes and knowledge together as one, companies can become Dynamic Enterprises.

Alcatel-Lucent has developed the Dynamic Communications Framework showing how advanced IP communication solutions, matched to a company's communications strategy, can turn every business into a Dynamic Enterprise.

The Alcatel-Lucent Partner Rendezvous was held in parallel to the third edition of the Middle East Master Convention hosted jointly by Alcatel-Lucent and Value Added Distributor Mindware at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Dubai. The convention attracted over 50 persons from 20 different reseller channels from the Middle East.

The objective of the event was to provide channel partners with updates on Alcatel-Lucent solutions and services as well as with the latest market trends in order to support them in finding answers to their most urgent customer requests.

The opening speech of the event was held by Jan Zuurbier, Alcatel-Lucent's Vice President Sales & Support for the Emerging Markets in the Enterprise Business Group.

Alcatel-Lucent also rewarded its best performing channel partners for their revenue contributions in 2008 during a Gala Dinner on April 20th.

Al Futtaim Technologies, Alcatel-Lucent Premium Partner received an award for its recently announced major deal with Etisalat as the Best IP Communication Project of the year.

During the four-day event the addressed topics were: how to make money and save money with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise solutions, how IP Communication solutions enable Dynamic Enterprise, how to mobilize Unified Communication and how to leverage Green IP Networking and User-Centric Security in today's uncertain times.
