Furthermore, he notes that e-procurement via Tejari has greatly improved The Dubai Police's acquisition speed, has reduced purchasing costs by 15-20% and kept all the purchasing processes hassle free, easy to monitor, track and review.

Mr. Dhahi Khalfan Tamim comments further that with running tenders and auctions via Tejari's online marketplace The Dubai Police always strives for a high level of transparency which leads to great satisfaction of buyer and suppliers, reduces cost of sourced goods, and creates feeling of security and protection to all parties involved.

Many different types of materials, equipment, and services were purchased via Tejari online marketplace by Dubai Police in 2008 and 2009 through competitive bidding and online negotiations such as: vehicle spare parts, laboratory equipment and materials, medicine, maintenance services, computers (including peripherals and software), cleaning materials, electronic appliances, furniture, stationery, chemicals, safety and security equipment, industrial equipment and more.
