World Bank Vice President and Treasurer Graeme Wheeler makes fact finding visit to Dubai

World Bank Vice President and Treasurer Graeme Wheeler has spent a two-day fact finding visit in Dubai examining venues for a major event he will host during the 58th Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund in September 2003.
Commenting on his visit, Mr. Wheeler said: "I have been very impressed with the breadth and quality of the infrastructure and highly professional manner in which the UAE and Dubai are preparing to host the Annual Meetings.
"My colleagues and I at the World Bank are looking forward to having a highly successful event in September 2003 thanks to the outstanding efforts of the Dubai 2003 team."
