Visitors to the event at Amwaj Islands, which runs daily from 4pm to 10pm until this Saturday, can enjoy a relaxed stroll around the marina, soak up the ambience and step aboard the numerous luxurious boats on show.

As the official largest exhibitor at the event, ART Marine is a one of the leading distributors of leisure yachts in the region, and is the exclusive importer and distributor for the well known Azimut-Benetti brand of luxury motor yachts for 13 countries, including the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Speaking about the event, Capt. Alessio Tumbiolo ART Marine Chairman said, "The Kingdom of Bahrain is a wonderful place and great island to enjoy yachts. Being at the first Bahrain Boat Show as the largest exhibitor with 11 yachts, demonstrates ART Marine's commitment to the yachting industry."

Also exhibiting at the event is the A.J.M.Kooheji Group which was established in Bahrain over 120 years ago and has grown to become one of the most well known and progressive businesses in the Kingdom.

"Holding a boat show here is a fantastic idea," said Isa Kooheji, a Director at the Group, adding "It's great for the economy, and gives Bahrain the opportunity to show off its numerous new developments as well as some finished ones like Amwaj."

Other key exhibitors at the event include Alfardan Marine, who boast 3 Motor Yachts at the event, including one of the extravagant world class Riva 85 yachts, and Intercol, who are showcasing their state of the art MTU and Volvo Penta marine engines for the first time in Bahrain. "The show is a great success," said Ebrahim Bader, Business Development Manager at Intercol, adding "The turnout has been great, and we've had loads of enquiries."

There is something for every boat enthusiast at the Boat Show, from the very latest in fish finding technology to funky personal transporters, but the sensational super yachts on display are certainly not to be missed - their luxurious opulence is a real indulgence and really has to be seen first hand to get a feel for just how sumptuous they are.

Commenting on how the show was going, Wael Juju, CEO of Knotika Holding - the event organiser - said, "It's going great! Planning and holding an event for the first time in any country is always an exciting challenge. The support and cooperation we have all received from everyone here has been truly outstanding - a real Bahraini welcome!" Mr Juju went on to say "From its heritage of pearl diving, Bahrain now has a beautiful new 'set of pearls' on display... at Amwaj Islands."

The show has already attracted over 4,000 visitors from Bahrain, KSA, Kuwait and the UAE in the first two days and is expected is rise to an anticipated 10,000 by the end of the show. This type of show is measured by the quality visitors who are keen to learn more about the boating life, and all the exhibitors have been really positive feedback on the numbers of quality visitors that have come along. The show has also been visited by many VIPs from around the region.

All in all, the relaxed and charming evening ambience of Amwaj, combined with the dazzlingly rich display of world class yachts and super yachts, demonstrates perfectly that the first ever Bahrain Boat Show is truly the very last word in luxury.
