Not only does Al-Saleh require such characteristics to ensure the continued success of his racing career, but they are also vital in guaranteeing HSCS' position as a leading supply chain and logistics service provider in the Middle East.

Al-Saleh has been racing both competitively and socially since 2004. He has achieved several podium finishes in his Porsche 996 Turbo, as well as first place in the B2 category and first overall in The Bahrain Circuit Racing Club (CRC) Championship in 2008/2009 in his Corvette Z06. He will be taking part in the exhibition race of the 2009 Chevrolet Supercars ME Championship at this weekend's Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix (24-26 April).

"We have just finished testing the Chevrolet Lumina CSV which I will be racing for the first time in the support race for the Formula One Grand Prix this weekend. The car feels good and as a result I managed to secure the second fastest times during testing. I am honoured to be racing at the Bahrain track on the same day as the world's greatest drivers, including Filipe Massa and Lewis Hamilton," said Al-Saleh.

When it comes to running HSCS' Al-Saleh firmly believes the skills he hones on the track impact positively on his ability to successfully run the company.

"Several of my racing skills and abilities positively impact on the running of Hala. Not only does the concentration required by racing help me to unwind from a stressful working environment, it also helps hone and reinforce several important attributes essential for success in the supply chain and logistics industry. These include being fast and flexible, having excellent reaction times as well as the patience and ability to slow down to make proper decisions," said Al-Saleh.

"Importantly, having keen foresight and vision to plan the best route to your ultimate goal is vital. In essence being a leader in the supply chain and logistics industry demands you cross the finish line in the right time, in the most efficient and reliable way, with the cargo intact," he added.
