The summit brings together leading international consultants, vendors and regional outsourcing professionals from a broad range of industries. As companies in the Middle East follow in the global trend on cost reductions, global sourcing has become an important tool to achive this in functions such as Information Technology (IT), finance and Human Resources (HR).

Khan's address to the forum will present significance of convergence in strategic sourcing from a CIO customer perspective and the benefits of partnering with BT to deliver converged solutions globally.

"We are operating in unprecedented market conditions with organisational, financial and corporate restructuring. More and more companies in the Middle East are using outsourcing, which cuts cost and helps companies develop core capabilities necessary to execute on thier strategy. In order to achieve this, you need flexible strategic partners providing you with the right sourcing approach to accelerate the transformation,"

said Khan.

External sourcing enables a higher quality of service, increased flexibility to meet requests for change and lowers costs.

"Through our BT HP Alliance and through our Federated Enterprise Service Bus capability we are able to service bond and eBond with 3rd party service providers and with our customers to accelerate the time to transition services. We achieve this by using a pre-integrated operational platform enabling service delivery within weeks whilst providing the foundation for early transformation," said Khan.

Khaleelo is based in Dubai with BT Global Services, where he is responsible for Strategic Business Solutions for the Middle East and Africa region. Prior to this, Khaleelo was head of sales and business development at BT Data Centre services.

He has over 17 years of international experience in various senior positions with leading IT consulting companies and system integrators.
