Adnoc to allocate $2bn to onshore deals

Abdul Munim Al-Kindy, the general manager of ADCO, Adnoc's onshore division, has said that the group plans to award $2bn of contracts before the end of the year. ADCO expected to award deals this year for the Beda Qamzan, Qusuweira and Bab projects. The growth in onshore operations is part of a larger plan by the UAE to boost total crude production capacity to 3.5 million bpd in 2018 from 2.8 million bpd currently.
