- PRESS RELEASE
Bafco, the region's premier architectural office interiors and office furniture supplier, reports a huge increase in the sale of its ergonomic range of office furniture.
The Ergohuman was designed specifically for those who are in an office chair for more than five hours, and require "Intensive Use Seating" to keep them comfortable for long periods of time.
According to the UK Health and Safety Commission, work related illnesses accounted for 30m workdays lost in the 2006-2007 period with three quarters of the cases involving musculoskeletal disorders.
It is recommended that the best seated position for the average computer user is one that allows the vertebra to be supported by good lumbar support. The Ergohuman lumber support allows users to sit slightly forward on its seat while still maintaining a good deal of lumbar support with its automatic flexing support system. This feature is great for computer users who are in an office chair more than five hours a day as it allows the user to find a comfortable reclined position and provide relief to the pressure on the spine.
The Ergohuman's headrest provides the user with the most suitable height to support the individual. This action reduces the added stress of holding one's head up. It is adjustable to fit 90% of its users.
Sales and Design Manager at Bafco Ahmed Syeeduddin said: "The Ergohuman has become one of our best-selling chairs in recent months. The combination of a modern design with ergonomic functionality appeals to companies looking to provide their people with an office tool that helps them perform to the best of their abilities."
