These destinations which in the long run will not only boost further tourism projects and investments, but also aids in the diversification of the nation's economy as well as providing employment to the eligible national cadres.

Oman Air Holidays has come up with the perfect weekend solution for the residents and tourists in Oman. Oman Air is the only airline flying to Khasab which is attracting tourists from far and wide.

Known for its picturesque beauty and solitude, Khasab offers adventure for those inclined towards that side.

With crystal clear aquamarine waters offering great diving and snorkeling options and the clean beaches making an ideal choice for beach games and activities, the nearby jebels offer the perfect perch for hiking and rock-climbing.

The inlet of sea snaking through ravines creates a feeling so special to this place. With so much in offer, it was but natural for Oman Air's own Holiday division to come up with something that adds to the excitement and ensures a relaxed holiday by the sea-side.

One can enjoy the picturesque Khasab for 3 days and 2 nights in the 4* Golden Tulip hotel twin-sharing with complimentary breakfast. And for the first time there is a great Cruise'n'Fly option together with the National Ferry Company. For no extra cost you have the choice of Flying in one direction and Cruising on the world's fastest ferry on the other. This offer is sure to entice those who are looking for short-trips within Oman.

Nigel Stoker, General Manager, Oman Air Holidays said that this package will give the travellers a great option in ensuring fun-filled holidays.

Stoker said:
"What a way to enjoy the journey as well as the destination! This is a unique way to stay in a lovely hotel while discovering the pleasures of Khasab and cruising the dramatic Omani coastline on the high-speed ferry. Perfect for a short holiday break - but book now as this is a special offer for a limited time."

Oman Air has been actively promoting a campaign aptly titled, 'Short Breaks - Naturally!' featuring Khasab and many attractions in Oman, in all the GCC countries. This campaign has received widespread interest.

Oman Air flies daily to Khasab departing at 10.45 from Muscat International Airport. The return flight from Khasab is at 12.20 - the flying time being only 1 hour 10 minutes. The Ferry service operates 4 times a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The ferry leaves from Muscat to Khasab ferry at 15.00 and leaves for the return trip at 11.00 (15.00 on Friday). The six hour ferry-ride will open up breathtaking scenes along the coastline that will add to the beauty of the trip.
