Souq.com enhances Saudi e-commerce

Souq.com, e-commerce pioneer, the subsidiary of Maktoob, launched early this month the new version of souq.com.

The all-new website allows more than 250,000 users to show their products for trading over the Internet. More than 1000 items are being traded on a daily basis and set to grow 12% monthly.

More than 113,000 commodities were traded in 2008, a motive that encouraged the launch new version of the all-new, this modern website which meets the challenges of e-commerce, and demands of users with a majority of young people with estimated number of visitors reach more than 650,000 every month.

The launched of new version comes in response to the boom of e-commerce in Saudi Arabia. This reflects the Saudi users' awareness about the new business styles.
