Kenny Wilson, Injazat's Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer, delivered a presentation today on outsourcing processes, market trends, and success factors. Wilson also discussed the growth potential offered by the EMEA region, which currently accounts for 70% of the global outsourcing trade.

Injazat is a Gold Sponsor to this year's conference, which will feature discussions with several prominent international and Middle Eastern outsourcing experts.

"Outsourcing has become a key component across all sectors, from government to oil and gas. The global financial crisis has further attracted interest into this business strategy, which has emerged as a powerful business tool for optimizing productivity while reducing cost. However, organizations need to fully understand the outsourcing paradigm and what exactly they want to benefit from it. Through this conference we aim to contribute to a better understanding of outsourcing and its potential, especially in growth areas such as the Middle East," said George Pawlyszyn, Executive Director- Strategy & Business Development, Injazat Data Systems.

Hundreds of outsourcing deals worth more than $1bn have been signed in the past 10 years, with IT outsourcing in particular gaining greater popularity over the past 12 months.

Off-shore contracts continue to gain broader acceptance and are growing rapidly, while several strategic alliances have been formed to optimize delivery. The emergence of Service Oriented Architectures is expected to further evolve the outsourcing sector.

Injazat Data Systems is the leader in IT sourcing activities across the UAE, accounting for more than 50% of the national market. Injazat Data Systems is a joint venture between Mubadala Development Co. and EDS, an HP company with 46 years of global expertise in the IT managed services industry.
