Beauty awards to be launched at Beautyworld Middle East 2009

This competition offers service providers in the beauty industry the opportunity to gain recognition as one of the UAE's leading salons or spas.

Ms. Andrea Werner, Senior Show Manager of Beautyworld Middle East trade fair, taking place from June 7 - 9, 2009 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Center said, "The Orchid Beauty Awards will be presented by Elements Beauty Consultancy in association with and hosted by Beautyworld Middle East."

"In today's ever growing and competitive market it is imperative to stay up to date with changing trends, technology and product innovations. Competing is an excellent way of ensuring that beauty establishments continue to offer high standards, quality products, innovative treatments and professional client service, to keep their business at the forefront of the beauty industry," said Sonette van Rensburg from Elements Beauty Consultancy. "The Awards will also help in setting standards of excellence for the beauty industry."

Competition organisers said categories have been carefully selected and decided on, to ensure that all beauty establishments in the industry get an opportunity to showcase just who the best is in their particular category. The categories are:

1. Spa of the Year
2. Beauty Salon of the Year
3. Men's Grooming Salon of the year
4. Nail Salon of the Year
5. Hair Salon of the year

Besides winning the prestigious Orchid Award trophy for the best in their category, there are also beautiful gift hampers to be given away which will be sponsored by leading beauty and cosmetic companies.

The title of this award will recognize beauty establishments who are providing professional services and outstanding client care in the region. It will also empower them to elevate their business to the highest levels.

Salons can enter the competition by sending in the entry form with a business profile to info@elementsconsultancy.com. Three nominees per category will be selected from the finalists, who will then undergo a mystery judging process of their establishment according to specific criteria's which have been set out.

The judges are qualified experts in their fields with professional experience in the industry and will only be revealed at the Awards Ceremony.

The final result will be determined by the portfolios and the mystery judging process, after which the nominees in each category will be invited to the Awards ceremony on 7th of June at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre, where the winner in each category will be announced at Beautyworld Middle East.
