General Dynamics awarded U.S. army contract for Multi-National Corps-Iraq logistics support

General Dynamics Information Technology, a business unit of General Dynamics, was awarded a $3m contract to support the U.S. Army Central Command and the Multi-National Corps-Iraq.
General Dynamics will provide logistics support to the Multi-National Corps-Iraq (MNC-I) at Camp Victory, Iraq. General Dynamics will assist MNC-I and its strategic partners in implementing a structured operational approach to analyze, forecast and manage equipment and commodities in the U.S. Central Command's regional area of responsibility, which stretches from the Middle East to Central Asia.
The program will improve accountability for all on-site and in-transit Theater provided equipment, ammunition and petroleum.
"General Dynamics understands that successful management of logistics support is vital to deployed personnel in Iraq and surrounding areas," said Zannie Smith, senior vice president of General Dynamics Information Technology's Army Solutions Division. "We will ensure seamless and comprehensive supervision of deployed equipment for executing Multi-National Corps-Iraq's critical mission."
