Innovative and cost-effective products from the company can be found in more than 170 countries worldwide and they are particularly helping a number of operators reduce waiting times, increase staff efficiency and generate extra revenue.

Renowned for inventing the Tensabarrier®, the world's first retractable post, Tensator's Middle East operation, Tensator FZE, has completed substantial projects at Dubai's Terminal 3 and at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Almost 2,000 Tensabarriers in the newly-constructed Terminal 3, which has been specifically designed for the exclusive use of the Emirates airline's passport control and check-in facilities.

At Abu Dhabi International Airport, Tenator FZE has installed 1,200 posts with custom-printed webbing in line with the branding of the new Etihad Airways terminal.

Tensator FZE general manager Abdel Aziz Rahal commented:
"Airlines and operators recognise that the environment in which they operate must be managed effectively and efficiently as the passenger experience starts as soon as they enter the airport. As customer focus is paramount, both airports have taken advantage of a range of proven, quality Tensator products that will assist in the smooth running of two of the region's newest facilities serving two of the economic hotspots."

Other venues that are benefiting from Tensator's wide range of products include Amman Airport in Jordan, as well as many airports located in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, where a grand total of over 5,000 products have been provided and installed.

The growth of airlines who service the increasingly-popular region and the investment in passenger transport facilities has meant that Tensator FZE has been able to grow its market share in the region.
