The meeting which was organised by Kamal Agostine, Chairman & CEO of Agostine & Raphael Group was also attended by the Malaysian Ambassador to Lebanon H.E. Dato' Mohammed Abdul Halim Abdul Rahman.
The fruitful meeting highlighted discussions about the economic investments in Johor, whereas the H.E. Dato' Abdul Ghani Othman formally invited Mr. Al Habtoor to visit Malaysia and explore opportunities of economic cooperation between Johor and UAE-based Al Habtoor Group. The meeting coincided with recent announcements that Malaysia's Johor state is to receive investments totalling up to $1.3bn by UAE-based companies.
Mr. Al Habtoor welcomed the idea of future cooperation between Al Habtoor Group and the state of Johor, and promised to fulfil the Chief Minister's request at the earliest possible date.
