The conference will discuss the prospects for engineers and technicians in specialised space sectors from engineering to operations; both for space and ground segments.
Opportunities are set to rise, as the UAE is poised to become a regional focal point for the space and satellite industry. The recent investment of $1.7bn in a telecommunication satellite system, the planned launch of its first remote sensing satellite and focus on the private spaceflight industry are some of the elements of the UAE's space program.
Abdulmunam M. Lootah, CEO - LTC, said:
"Keeping in line with LTC's unique concept where education and industry merge, our joint venture LSE Space Middle East hopes to bring world-class training and consultancy in space technology to the region. The objective of these conferences is to identify and develop a pool of human capital in line with the vision of our leadership, to serve the requirements of present and future satellite operators in the region."
"We are confident that the conference will inspire our future workforce to pursue careers that will contribute positively to the region's dynamic space programme. This includes the proposed largest space centre in Mena to be set up in Abu Dhabi, among others," he added.
LTC, a division of the S.S. Lootah Group, seeks to facilitate a knowledge incubation process through a unique methodology of 'Teaching, Training and Applying'. LSE Space Middle East is a joint venture between LTC and LSE Space, a German based independent space sector consultancy, which offers the complete space system lifecycle services.
