Ruwad joins International Network for SMEs

HE Ahmad Mohammad Al Midfaa, Chairman of Ruwad, has held a meeting in Sharjah, recently, with Mr. Paolo Anselmo, President of International Network for SMEs (INSME), to discuss ways of cooperation between Ruwad and the INSME.
Al Midfaa said, "Ruwad seeks to stimulate cooperation with local and international markets through a dedicated network. We aim to provide our national entrepreneurs with advanced technology."
"Ruwad is the first SME governmental organization to join the International Network for Small and Medium Enterprises," he added.
"We agreed with the INSME to issue a magazine dedicated to enhance innovative SMEs. Ruwad will extend the necessary support to this electronic publication, to have it published throughout the UAE and Arab countries," he said.
Mr. Paolo Anselmo praised the business climate available in the UAE to incubate SMEs and the host of financial, technical and infrastructural support extended to young entrepreneurs.
"The INSME will cooperate with Ruwad in training courses, business incubators, technological exchange, linking the establishment with international sources," he said.
Simona Marzetti, Secretary General of the International Network for SMEs said, "INSME Board of Directors approved in 2008 Ruwad Establishment as a member in the network in recognition of its outstanding efforts in supporting the SMEs in the emirate of Sharjah."
She added that a number of international events will be jointly organized by the two parties as from next October, and Ruwad chairman has been invited to attend the international meeting of INSME, scheduled in Brazil-2010.
